Frequently Asked Questions & Office Policies
How fast will I get my doctor's recommendation?
The doctor operates on a specific batch-processing schedule. Recommendations are not issued individually; they are batched out and released every 3 to 5 business days.
Please Note: There is no "same-day" or "rush" processing. Your recommendation will be included in the next available batch after your appointment.
Is this the OMMA state office?
No. Miss Kay’s Consulting is a private administrative service. I assist you with the paperwork and filing, but I am not OMMA. Once your application is submitted, it is in the hands of the State of Oklahoma for final approval and mailing.
Can a budtender help me with my application status?
No. Budtenders do not have access to my professional files or the state’s internal licensing system. Asking a dispensary for updates on your card is a waste of your time. For accurate status, please check your email or contact me directly.
What happens if I change my portal password?
Please do not change your password while your application is pending. If I am locked out, I cannot access the portal to finalize your documents. If this occurs, I will securely email your doctor’s recommendation to you so that you can complete the final upload steps on your own.
Can I get a refund?
Because fees cover the doctor’s time for the consultation and the professional service already provided, all sales are final. No refunds are issued after you have been seen by the doctor.

When will I get my plastic card?
After we finish your paperwork, the State will mail your card to your house. It usually arrives in about 2 to 3 weeks.
Do I need to do the paperwork myself?
Not alone! I provide the guidance, document preparation, and expertise to ensure everything is correct. Depending on the service tier you choose, I either guide you through the process or manage the administrative proxy, but we work together to ensure your application is successful.
Application Rejected?
Don't worry—I am here to help. If the state sends a request for more information, I will personally review the rejection notice with you and provide the specific guidance needed to resolve the issue and resubmit your application.
How do I apply?
Step 1: Get a Physician Recommendation: You see an Oklahoma-licensed, OMMA-registered doctor.
Step 2: Connect with Miss Kay: Choose your support tier (Self-Starter, Concierge, or White Glove).
Step 3: Submit with Confidence: I prepare your documentation and guide you (or manage the proxy) to ensure the state receives a perfect application. You then handle the final secure submission to the State.
Federal Law Update: What is Schedule III?
Does this mean I don't need a card? No. Even with the move to Schedule III, cannabis remains a controlled substance. You still need a valid OMMA Patient License to legally buy, possess, and grow medical marijuana in Oklahoma.
Will the process change? For now, the application process remains exactly the same. The federal government’s move simply recognizes the medical value of cannabis, which may actually lead to more doctors being willing to provide recommendations!
Is Miss Kay still helping? Yes! I am staying on top of all federal and state changes to ensure your license remains valid and protected. I"I will continue to guide you through all your paperwork and filing just like always."
